I think the cd-label option is disabled it the cvs. Tryed the current cvs(and 3 older ones), but with those, the game absolutely doesn't start. But if you just play, there are places in the game, where it checks the cd-label again, so you can't continue the game(like after freeing the lighthouse keeper). Game starts first, but if you quit, and try to start it again, it'll ask for the CD. Well, the game needs to check the original CD-labelīut!
